Hiya Digital Private Limited is looking for an experienced WordPress Website Developer to join our web development team in Chembur, Mumbai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, troubleshooting, optimizing, and securing WordPress websites for our clients.

You should have strong practical knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, themes, plugins, MySQL, responsive web development, website performance, and security.

This is a hands-on development position. We are looking for someone who can independently understand requirements, build and customize websites, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver production-ready WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities For WordPress Website Developer

WordPress Website Development

• Develop and maintain professional WordPress websites for clients.
• Build websites based on approved designs, layouts, specifications, and business requirements.
• Configure WordPress installations and implement required functionality.
• Customize WordPress themes and templates.
• Customize and extend WordPress plugins when required.
• Develop reusable website components and functionality.
• Convert website designs into responsive WordPress websites.
• Ensure websites function correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experience.
• Follow WordPress development best practices and coding standards.

Theme & Plugin Development / Customization

• Customize existing WordPress themes according to project requirements.
• Modify theme templates, functions, styles, and layouts.

• Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and overall website performance.

WordPress Security & Maintenance

• Implement basic WordPress security best practices.
