Codeigniter / Core PHP Developer Job Description:
We seek a talented, experienced Codeigniter/Core PHP Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of professional experience developing web applications using Codeigniter and Core PHP. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Codeigniter and Core PHP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all development lifecycle phases.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure robust optimisation and functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of our products.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Codeigniter and Core PHP development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Codeigniter preferred) and understanding of MVC design patterns
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and version control tools (Git)
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and API development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and payment gateways
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular)
- Knowledge of web security best practices.
- Experience with agile and scrum development methodologies.
