Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and chat
  • Resolve issues related to web hosting, domains, email hosting, and websites
  • Troubleshoot server-related issues (Linux/Windows environments)
  • Handle DNS, SSL, cPanel, and Plesk-related queries
  • Assist clients with website functionality and security issues

Server & Hosting Support

  • Assist in basic server administration tasks
  • Monitor server performance and resource usage
  • Support Apache, Nginx, and hosting configurations
  • Resolve hosting-related downtime and performance issues

Email & Domain Management

  • Configure and troubleshoot email hosting (POP3, IMAP, SMTP)
  • Manage domain registration, transfers, and DNS records
  • Assist clients with domain pointing and propagation issues

Client Communication & Support

  • Explain technical issues in simple, non-technical language
  • Provide fast, accurate, and customer-friendly solutions
  • Build strong client relationships through professional support
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work with developers, system admins, and internal teams
  • Document technical issues and solutions in the knowledge base
  • Maintain proper issue tracking and resolution logs
  • Contribute to process improvement and support efficiency

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or an IT support role
  • Experience in web hosting, domains, or server support preferred

  • Linux and Windows Server basics
